Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox 8 day Travel Alarm Clock

Finally found one of these little beauties. Ready to be serviced. 

The back features sliding doors. The movement and alarm operate from a single mainspring, with dedicated setting crowns.  The alarm is set by winding key, and switched off by pressing the alarm button on top. It has an 8-day movement. It really is a nice looking clock. This one was more than likely bound for the USA market due to the fact it has Lecoultre on the dial rather than the European counterpart in having Jaeger on. I prefer the marking of Lecoultre simply because the font looks better

This was a NOS watch that came with the original leather strap and box. The dial on this is a really nice chequer board. I like this watch as it has a good solid feel with an everyday ready to wear approach.
